Crystal Mountain Snow
As a quavering chorus of frosty bells mark this twilight hour for the dimming village far below; and one by one cold-fire stars egress, the winter-bright moon hangs frozen in a limpid cosmic dream, to enchant the spirit and enlighten the mind, with a thousand moonbeams shadow-dancing through the barren trees and Crystal Mountain snow.

"a thousand moonbeams shadow-dancing through the barren trees" Your words bring the scene clearly into focus, as if it were a Hasselblad image. Take a bow, Bruce.

Secondhanddreampoet,
This is another nice winter poem. It hasn't snowed much here in the city this year. We are hoping for the best though. We're all looking forward to a big snowball war in the playground.

Bruce, I hope you do not mind me posting this picture taken in the arctic showing both the sun & moon in the same shot...it just seems to fit with your post....
