Listening to every heart

0 posted 2008-02-28 03:48 PM

White Horse

Slate skies spreading wide and gray,
air so still and chill, while
gentle, loving thoughts of you
come slipping in
brandywine warm, I
find so weak my will,
knowing somewhere       far away,
a White Horse roams
and this silence
lays me open
lifting up a soul's deep moan

while others only hear the wind.

Caution cautions one to dwell
between a forest’s span
of pine and eucalyptus air,
where a hushed spell is held,
          willing prisoner
knowing somewhere
there are skies
so blue and clear,
while in misty imagery,
this White Horse leads me
straight to you

And summer is where
your own heart lives
in such dream-like state

so envisage, if you would,
what this imagination
lovingly

creates.

White Horse knows this heart.

Pure song of spring. so beautiful and romantic. Every word is a drop of spring rain. Beautiful dear lady. Precious writing!!
And I don't know when I can write like this. I could see that a pen was dancing elegantly on the paper.

This is most fine!...

I am particularly fond of imagery such as:

“Slate skies spreading wide”;

“loving thoughts …
slipping in
brandywine warm”;

“knowing somewhere  far away,
a White Horse roams”;

“a forest’s span
of pine and eucalyptus air”;

“summer is where
your own heart lives”

Serious applause!!

Sunshine,

This seems to consist of two rather long, rambling sentences, and one shorter sentence.

I'd think of doing something with those two long sentences.  That would make this easier to read, and understand.
