Hey! People talk, people talk, yeah, has the whole world gone insane? My appearance into earth life brought resentment, and earned me much discrimination: seems I've yet to touch the falling rain. I've had my share of man’s abuse, but never mind, I'm not accepting this: that I'd be discriminated against just because I appear to be different – different than what? Can they not see all I really want is to be allowed my place? Rage crashes through my mind, its wind erodes the fabric of my soul, yet while my entire being bleeds, “I” – the silent “I” struggles endlessly to bar hatred from the door. Seems to me the search for equality must be as ancient as the hills; and seems to me it has never been found. But do I give up on a technicality, a mere statistical point? No. I do not believe the universe came into being simply to grind out statistics. We can do better. I can do better. |

Windwalker- We all strive for acknowledgment of the uniqueness of our soul. It is our own self-knowledge though, that keeps the rage at bay and allows us to keep an open heart. All we can do is try. Indigo |
