Like the seasons Changes come and go The metamorphosis Of taking things slow I feel so small In this big world I share Gradually changing Life’s to much to bare The same things said All I hear are lies Floating up above These ugly butterflies They tear at me And eat away my soul My heart surrounded I lose all self control Running at light-speed But still losing the race Trying hard to fail While keeping my place In this messed up world Without honesty I’m meant to be alone This I do decree Better to die, and sleep |

A few changes could be made, my thoughts. Like the seasons change comes and goes or the metamorphosis of taking things too slow I feel so small in this big world I spare changing gradually life is too much to bare I listen to the things said and all I hear are lies floating on the wind above like ugly butterflies They tear at me And eat away my soul as my heart beats loudly I lose all self control Running at light-speed But still losing the race Trying hard NOT to fail While keeping my place The world is so messed up with lies I don't condone I wish that I would meet you So I wouldn't have to be alone (last stanza - like a wish, maybe) |
