In memory of Sy Tabin Where do we go when the air of life departs from mortals; think positive life is only a moment when encasings finally relax to surround sounds moments of subdued whimpers and a child's giggle in the next life when sorrow is unknown where do we go when we are too big to fit lowered doorways for rabbit messengers to a tea party in the heart of a tree to a talking kettle pouring welcoming tea when the air of life exits hastily.. We go to no end and heaven knows from unreal beginnings a rib here a ripe apple there stroll through fig leaf gardens; for the fear of departure why should one worry so.. one dies thousands of times while living suffers in silence while shouting no ending is too sad in fleeting times by comparison. Sy would want us to think of fresh beginnings |
