A slap in the face he doesn't see
Or perhaps he does
And it was tailored for me

I do not whine, I do not cry
Or manipulate to get my way
But I sit there...astonished
Without a word to say

Her face must be invisible
Or perhaps a genius mask
Instead of being flattered
It feels I have been taken to task

If I be her image mirrored
I'd rather not be known
For hidden beneath her deception
Is a person rarely shown

My credit's not Bad...I'm just protecting myself from identity theft!

Striking. You wrote a recurring scene from my life in the past; I remember staring in a mirror, searching to see if there was truth after such 'tailored' comments.
