 My Spirit by Linda L. Dowd My spirit flows with calming breeze, and streams with winds above the trees. It spans the blues of God’s great sky ~ Riding the thermals as gulls wing by. It swims the oceans and sails the seas, with playful dolphins with carefree ease. It soars o'er valleys and mountains high, ~ Experiencing life ‘til the day I die. It crosses the deserts but does not thirst, and drinks in blessings until it bursts. I hunger not ~ for my spirit's fed, from when I rise ~ 'til I'm off to bed. My spirit flows with calming breeze, and streams with winds above the trees. It spans the blues of God’s great sky ~ Riding the thermals as gulls wing by. . |
