Born Again Amnion lulls serenade the waves that meet and greet Each tumbling pipeline, swelled in silver fingers gripping Opal knuckles, spread to release the verdicts of Odin Exhaled, one deep breath gathers dew drops and tears replenished How shall I express the colors of my thirst, skirted under wide brimmed shade? My emotions are the waves, rolling forward Crashing into sandy beaches, thrashing gulps as shoreline reaches Ink tipped gulls patrol in vain, sun still shining past the rain Past my tears I float upon weightless enthusiasm, rasp of throat and empty Surfing emotional buoyancy, cool and clear Dunking under curled white fringe, drowning in hope Save for an intelligent hedge, would I sink Though turquoise flows along my body Cool, the touch of related song, on the waves to move along Away, carry me away from the building surge To let pass over, the tidal crush in sweet submerge Sway with me, on tingling toes as quiet goes Hold me love, upon the sounds of sunset Copyright Kkh 7/5/08 |
