My thoughts speak volumes of no meaning, some kind of misunderstanding, a question unanswered, truth lost in the translation from ideal to real. Time passes, heavy-laden with memories. Uncounted days and years have slipped by since that fateful hour of reckoning, that moment of cold, clear destiny, a day when reality felled paradise at the doorstep of a bright eternity. Hope is a hoax, living in fantasy, bereft of tomorrow's shining promise. Too many dreams are left undreamt at the end of a long and torturous road. Faith is a fool, blind to any truth, hostage to a cruel, indifferent world, an old man wandering in darkness, an existential prisoner of fate. The unknown future beckons, tantalizing. Dismally it echoes in the tottering ruins, in the empty spaces of a life interrupted by heedless reality, in dreams shattered on a cold and bleak November day. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; |

It's a sad poem and you convey the hopelessness very powerfully again. Life did not stop on that November day! Life gives you a new opportunity every morning, it invites you to live in the present moment. You can't go back and you can't race ahead, but right now you can take the decision to LIVE. Today I received the following e-mail message from "Loving Each Day": "Q: Do I have a Soul mate? A: There is really no such thing as a Soul mate, because the Soul is perfect and complete all by itself. - John-Roger" Whether you believe it or not, your Soul is perfect and complete, but it fulfills its mission when it shares love ...
