Moonlight rises from the eastern mountains,
Illuminating the tears running slowly down my skin.
I whisper for you...for hope...for love...for breath
Broken hearted I scream, beg, yell, search for death.
The sorrow of my misgivings crushes my chest.
You're entwined in my blood, I've become possessed.
The emptiness of my soul takes the light from my eyes.
Anger erupts from my gut, boiling, raging, intensifying.
I strain to understand, to break through, to release.
It's coming slowly, in the quiet I feel it, the freeze.
Your dreams come to me, haunting, torturing, mocking.
Every piece of me is intoxicated with remembering...
Memories chain me, my hope enslaves me, I struggle uselessly
You have stolen my power, help me, set me free.
