The Snows of July It did happen once, on the fourth of July. I was not there, but so it was reported: Whirling, blizzard-like conditions in Rocky Mountain State Park. 27 dg F. and blowing snow. There must have been some out of staters, wearing shorts, equipped with ice chests. for those temporarily trapped up there, I am sure it must have been one Fourth of July they will never forget. And though I'm no expert in such things, I imagined they had seen snowflakes dance with sunbeams together in the sky, as if each were trying to impress the other with its shine. |

Thank you, but Midnite, why has not anyone tried to describe to me what waves and rainbows might feel linke, if they were palpable things. Jason at our party made me an example of a snow flake, and it had some holes in it, but he said that had to do with the wway water crystalizes when it freezes. Is this so? |
