You Don't Mess With Love While walking in the Black Forest with a bunch of real Germans I felt German too, although the closest thing to German I am is Italian, having an Italian Grandfather that came to America to build big bridges until he fell off and died. While in germany I liked the style of the German women, just one of the reasons I married a full blooded German lass after I came back, who was missing her boyfreind that had been sent to Germany to serve in the Air Force in Ramstein and had greatly disappointed her by not sending for her after he got settled, one of the reasons why I should have encouraged her to pursue him, the man she still loved, I always felt like it was a mistake to pursue her, because she should have been pursuing him so she could settle her account with him, before she could be ready for me, but I didn't encourage her to go because I didn't want to lose her, still I lost her in the end, because she was always in love with him, and you don't mess with love. I haven't been on the pages blue lately due to my work commitments, and I have missed out on so many beautiful works, yours included... love RDB Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight......... |

Hello James, a stupendous story, I like your wisdom and the good distance you took with events...When I was young I fell in love with a gorgeous austrian girl (I even remember her name)...But I was just travelling and had to come back in France while she was working in Austria...We keep writing during two years (I have still her letters) and stopped naturally relationship...Now I realize that I simply fell in love because she was beautiful...A man have to learn all his life along isn't it.... thanks for your very interesting poem. yann |

Roniece your comments are precious to me... you are so accepting... 2islander2 I also fell in love because a woman was beautiful, but she also was in love with another man...and in retrospect our personalities had no intentions of getting along...James |
