Road to Recovery Lost in this world, You gave us a scare Why’d you have to try that? Please, tell me why. What have you been through? What horrors have you seen? I’m here for you to talk to, I’ll listen to your story It may seem like no one’s there, We all have those moments Things will get better, Of this, I’m sure. A long road to recovery, With many twists along the way. It’s one we must all travel At one time or another You gave us a scare, Straight down to our core We thought we had lost you, Tears, this thought brings more. We’re here for you tonight, Talk about your problems It might be hard at first, But oh, so relieving in the end. Many have been down this well-traveled road A one-way street to a town of despair Only one time is there a chance for a U-turn You’ve been given that chance This chance, not many get This chance, it’s a sign from God Your time was not this night, Your purpose, not yet served Lost in this world, You gave us a scare Tell us your story, We’ll all be listening |
