JOUR DE L'AN 1 January 1983 Aujourd’hui je t’ai vu dans les arbres, dans la pluie, à l’écurie, et mon cœur m’a dit Séco. Aujourd’hui je t’ai entendu dans des chansons, dans la sonnerie du téléphone, dans la voix de ta sœur, et mon cœur m’a appelé Séco. Aujourd’hui je t’ai touché dans l’herbe mouillée sous mes pieds, dans la crinière de mon cheval, dans la pluie qui me caressait le visage, et mon cœur m’a crié Séco. Aujourd’hui je t’ai senti dans le parfum de la pluie, dans les fleurs à ma fenêtre, dans mon Anaïs Anaïs, et mon cœur m’a soufflé Séco. Aujourd’hui je t’ai trouvé dans les croûtons de ma soupe dans le café chaud dans ma gorge dans le lait pas assez tiède et mon cœur m’a pleuré Séco. NEW YEAR’S DAY 1 January 1983 Today I saw you in the trees, in the rain, at the stables, and my heart said to me Séco. Today I heard you in songs, in the ringing of the telephone, in the voice of your sister, and my heart called to me Séco. Today I touched you in the damp grass under my feet, in the mane of my horse, in the rain which caressed my face, and my heart shouted to me Séco. Today I felt you in the perfume of the rain, in the flowers at my window, in my Anaïs Anaïs, and my heart whispered to me Séco. Today I found you in the croutons in my soup in the hot coffee in my throat in the milk not lukewarm enough and my heart cried to me Séco. |

Hello Owl, j'ai vraiment trouvé magnifique ton poème en français, J'aimerais trouvé d'aussi belles images que toi quand j'écris...Tu as ensoleillé mon coeur même si je n'ai pas tout à fait compris le nom Seco....Je suis encore admiratif après cette lecture et personne ne peut savoir en te lisant que le français n'est pas ta langue maternelle... Richy, I am speechless (and that doesn't happen often!!!). Thank you. This is beautiful and so personal, and so obviously for me. I am honoured and you make me feel very special. Yes, you do know me, very well and that makes me feel very warm and fuzzy inside. Smiles. Yann, merci beaucoup de tout mon coeur. Je suis très heureuse que tu aimes tellement ma poème. Et moi aussi, j'aimerais trouver d'aussi belles images que toi quand j'écris!!!! Tu me fais grand honneur en me disant tout ce que tu dis, y compris le fait que j'ai ensoleillé ton coeur et que tu admires ma poésie et mon français et que personne ne peut savoir que le français n'est pas ma langue maternelle, surtout puisqu'il y a longtemps que j'ai utilisé le français. On m'a dit souvent que mon accent était celui d'une française quand je parle, mais il me semble que j'ai perdu tout le vocabulaire et la grammaire que j'ai connu. Le vrai nom de Séco était Serge, et j'ai cru que Séco en était une abbréviation française ou mauritienne, mais peut-être c'est un sobriquet de famille. Mille remerciements d'abord pour tes pensées et deuxièmement pour les avoir exprimées. - Owl |

Ce que tu dis, c'est vrai, mais, je trouve aussi que quand je ne suis pas amoureuse, ces choses me parlent encore, mais je comprends précisément ce que tu dis et j'en suis d'accord.
