as Helios gilds the eastern sky in muted hues I wonder why, why do the stars at dawning flee? where do they go, where can they be? springs forth new day in night's submission, was Venus but an apparition? darkness retreating, commence of new day, Polaris and Altair, frightened away? pastelled shades of dawn's first glow, stars disappear as melting snow, O' how I wonder where they are, each and every welkin star. I fear the mystery of stars' begone, is locked within, the grandeur of dawn. |

Tim, this is wonderful! As long as we have the ability to wonder, we are safe, as it is this wondering that stirs us to move upon the path of knowledge. Enjoyed this much. Love, Margherita |

Sir, quote: I cannot count the number of early dawns that I thought the same thing. It's wonderful to read you! |
