From wikipedia--

"A prayer wheel is a 'wheel' (Tibetan: 'khor) on a spindle made from metal, wood, leather, or even coarse cotton. On the wheel are depicted or encapsulated prayers, mantras and symbols such as the Ashtamangala. According to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, spinning such a wheel will have much the same effect as orally reciting the prayers."

I find the eye they call the third

palms together

trinity

and then I concentrate on Truth

palms together

please hear me

I'll save a third of me for you

palms together:

spare her hurt

I know that I know nothing but

palms apart

but just slightly

Energy perpetuates

"Palms were laid"

upon His path

I pray to her God on this night:

palms in prayer

for our behalf

"She has more to give"

I plead

palm-to-palm

O' hear me please

This is not her home, I know

I bow my head, humility.

But she has many miles to go

palms together

Unity

Let her linger on with us

spare her pain - and keep the trust

fingered palms are quivering

Renew her as a quickening!

A single candle is a light

palms together cannot fight

Hear my pleas, considering

the faith, the love, her fortitude--

she is,we are, a part of You:

palms together

servitude.

Hear me, hear me

as I pray

Lend her stength and let her stay

to live her life Apostleship

I light the candle

pray

or wish

that I have been heard this night:

palms together

very still

knowing that she'll do your will--

do not call her home just yet

Mercy

on us all I beg:

I nod to my four corners, "yes".

Palms apart

in encompass

of creation, gratitude.

I humbly ask that you renew

our friend

your servant

of Eden.

palms together

nod

"Amen."

Smile. I know my post might confuse many people. As my friendship with Marge grew, since she and I are both very forthright people, I told her our renewed friendship would indeed confuse many. Her response was very simple:

"It's nobody's business."

And this is why I love her so, and I ask you to join me in prayers, either here, in poetry, or in whatever way you find comfortable. Because Marge understands this, and she and I agree that God, in infinite wisdom, makes people, communicates, and appears in forms that they can understand--

A personal relationship with God is personal.

And I sincerely hope I got part of that wrong--because I would love for Marge to pop in and correct me. (gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)

Share the love? I know you will. Peace and prayers.

Be well Marge.

Amen, Amen!

Joining in your deeply beautiful and heartfelt prayer for our dear Marge ... we are one in the One. Prayer wheels, prayer circles, praying hearts ... it's all energy of love and reaches the target.

I fold my hands in gratitude for Marge's healing.

Love and hugs to both.

Thank you Karen, for being the beautiful warm-hearted soul that you are.  This prayer-poem is beautiful and so worthy of our Marge.  She will love it.

Adding my prayers to the prayer wheel.

Karen, this is beyond touching and beautiful.

As you may have suspected, I have the whole kit 'n kaboodle of Tibetan crystals, bells, singing bowls etc. and I will spin my Tibetan prayer wheel for our beloved Marge.

God bless you both.

I have never doubted the heart of Marge, nor the integrity of our own serenity.

This is a beautiful wheel of tribute to the both of you - although you, K, won't see it that way.

When, truthfully, relationships of man, woman, woman, man, man, etc., are questioned, without actual knowledge of anyone's reason to befriend anyone else...

then the world really is off its axis.

Thank the powers that be that we have Ron's world, where we can come together, be friends, or more, or less, and still function as a "town*" of understanding individuals who believe we are here for one main compassion:

Poetry.

*I was going to say "village" but that's been overused by the politicos.

Knowing that both of you are blessed...I not only salute you, I love you.

I hardly feel capable of words, Karen...yours are so strong that I believe they could even turn the world.  Circles though, depend on joining and I join hands and heart, with love and admiration for you and the gift you give so freely here to Marge.

I'm so happy ya'll are joining me with this--Marge's acceptance of me and my religion, unquestionably, helped me to understand and re-assess Christianity. I like to think that we share a spiritual connection.

*smile*

So we take joy in our similarities and celebrate our differencs!

And Marge? If you're peeking in?

fierce comanche chest thumping

Love you!

Rest and be well.

Sometimes sitting in silence is painful... sometimes sitting in silence is to hear what is said softer than a breath...

And sometimes, silence is borne of awe... The beauty and caring of this strips me of words, but oh... the heart speaks

And it prays
too
