Our Marge We're bombarding Heaven with prayers for our Marge And pleading for skill for the doctors in charge. We're missing the songs for her sweet Girly Girls And her pictures of flowers as a petal unfurls. We'd like to be there to tend to her garden. If we tread on your turf Lord, we're asking for pardon. We're missing our friend on these poetic pages; Though it's not been that long, it seems ages and ages. We know any day now, we'll find her back here Penning her verses with vigor and cheer. Unil then for dear Marge, we'll continue to pray That her health is returning, she's better each day. Joyce 6/5/08 |
