Elias son, as daylight fades,
...seamless into night,
You hear my son, what no man hears,
...as you commence your flight,
Beyond the bonds of mortal rhetor,
...into the realm of ever,
Sojourning though bounds of time,
...as from life's ties you sever,
You travel where no man has journeyed,
...you flee from earthen curse,
To leave behind life's pain and sorrows,
...night's heaven to traverse,
Elias son, when dawning calls,
...you heed first glow of light,
To return from whence you came,
...and leave behind the night,
Where you have been, no man has known,
...nor will one ever see,
As you once more await the night,
...to once again earth flee.

The memories of a lost son,
seen during the day,
dreamed of only in the pale
moon light...

beautiful, Tim. Touching,
and warm.

This is exquisite, Tim.  I am so sorry to hear that you have lost a child to death.  That must be one of the hardest things - if not the very hardest - in the world to bear.  I know that Elias hears you and is watching over you.

Tim,

I read all that I find of yours and am never disappointed.  You are one that I learn from.

This is beautiful.
