Discussion With Sundown

Oh mighty cloak,
Dropped slowly from the shoulder of promise
Do you cloud the horizon with vague ambiguity?
Are shadows merely opaque thoughts,
concealing naked truths?
The sun was once a virgin
Glittering on the hand of time
Are my feelings caped in widespread arms of vanity?
Or does he hold my essence to the sky,
Dancing as I do at sundown
Awaiting eagerly the fragrant rain

Oh I wish that line was mine!

A stunning image, and you do manage to dig deep without sharp implements.

Still a fan, I am!
