In Elderly Man’s Monthly, I read the glaring news, “Now… Toerag Appearing In Hat and ‘Gator Shoes!” It seems he’s taken residence in nursing home, it’s true; A convalesque dancer Wearing only hat and shoes! With tambourine in hand (A bedpan to you and me) He bowels to make a movement Relaxing, in the groove. He dances first in toga, Then, drops the safety pin! Oh my goodness, oh my gosh! There’s nothing from the chin! From their stations, staff exclaims; Wildly, he takes his stance, “Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, you forgot your doggone pants!” His hat, he tips graciously, Lowering it in place, Before the ladies all around Can look him in the face. Behind, the nurses needle him With ravings so risqué From cheek to cheek he blushes, As they shout, “Re-play! Re-play! With a bed pan in his hand, Like a torch held high in sky, He circles one more time around when a syringe taps into thigh. Boo! Hiss! The elders scream! It’s of Toerag we all dream!
