you never wanted to touch someone
who is lost failing their
own redemption.

you never wanted to feel someone
gone from their prime
lost in religion.

you always pass on by
the fallen down
who may be just jesus.

you stomp on by the cries
of the city torn apart
by how you view it.

its time you left your heart
on the side of life
so maybe you'll hear it.

Great message and well written.  I think I might consider dropping the 4th stanza- But I could just not be interpreting it correctly. All in all this piece can me much to consider about how I face the fallen and despaired in this world.

As we pass by those whose main difference is that they are living a life we don't care to imagine, it is so easy to let our fear shield out the message your poem reveals.
