Immortal Vine by Sonnet The very depths of soul beseech one velvet meal In sate so ravenous to feed by destiny Besieged in freedoms pure enchantment, hungers zeal Two light of heart adorns iambic harmony As this my love, propounds the feast lest sin Whereby each soul is made impoverished to dine When we have found the garden sown, as weed grows thin With trembled lips so sweet to sip immortal vine Then this my praise, to rise above the surface course As you alone are but my thirst and hunger shed And free, so free, without undue reviewed remorse My needs fulfilled are just dessert when sweetly said My heart so full, ingratiates a banquets touch To feast of blessed rite and freedoms full as such Copyright Kkh 5/17/08 |

Oh Kathleen, I don't know how you do it. The likes of Shakespeare's shadow is smiling right now, embracing your true gift, and so am I. Rich |
