Sally’s dancing the bar down at the corner of Richmond and Allegheny. It’s real handy like, right down the street. Felix always walks her down there and back, just in case there’s any trouble from her ardent admirers. After all, she’s just a skinny little girl, there’s not much to her at all. She’s up there on the dais, in the center of the room. Sally’s wearing her tiny tutu and pasties on her breasts. She’s dancing slow and smooth. Sally’s twists and turns, her gyrations and backbends, have the crowd enthralled. She doesn’t need any music. She’s got the rhythm in her head. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. I feel that Sally loved to dance and she even did not need the music you say ... yes I believe you, she was the music. Lovely portrait, dear Bobby. And I like to learn how you made her feel safe. Love, Margherita |

Thanks dear Margherita, Yes, Sally is a lovely girl, in more ways than one. Felix always has this air of confidence about him. Then of course there is his knife fetish. He always keeps his blade razor sharp. Remember, it's a neighborhood bar, everyone knows Felix. Love Bobby |

Thanks dear Ida, We have to take care of our own. It's kind of the second rule of nature. The first rule to be to take care of yourself. Love Bobby |

It would appear that sultry Sally has the music not only in her head ~ but in her hips as well! lol Linda |

You know, you are generous in letting us see the tender side of Felix as he walks Sally back and forth. And also in how you share Sally and let us see her from different angles and shadows. A |

Alison, Thanks for the kind words on this poem. You know Felix is always the gentleman, it's part of the trade. Bobby |
