A glimpse that's all I was allowed - a negative of what could be I held it to the light and I, consumed with curiousity saw the lines you would not write. Your colors held no vibrancy - just more of your transparency I squinted. I gave up the fight and fed the film to candlelight one frame at a time as you were clarified in ebony wisps of black-smoked truth. * * * Thanks Kari...I didn't catch the missed word until I saw it highlighted in your reply. |

Impressive write, dear Karen! Intriguing too. It looks like a definitive detachment and is so powerfully rendered. Love, Margherita |

Burning a 'negative' can ofttimes produce positive results! ~ An en-lighten-ing experience! I could visualize you feeding the frames one by one into the purifying flame. Well done! ~ in more ways than one! winky wink Linda |

to Dunc... and oh man.. sometimes I just freak myself out. I wrote this yesterday, and I go to the doctor today only to hear that they haven't yet received my "film" back from the labratory. Weird. I wish it would stop. Thank you all for being so kindly as I exposed myself. Heh. |

Hi, Ser. I don't get in here often enough. Did I ever tell you how you make one action and describe it vividly? I am sure I have but I am running out of inspiration struck replies for your work. I just sit around...jaw dropped...and drool now....lol! "...buried way beneath the sheets |

Karen, when I read you ... it's more like an "experience". I love the lines throughout, particularly this one .... "Your colors held no vibrancy - just more of your transparency" WONDERFUL contrast and visual. Great flow ... I really enjoyed this! Best wishes and big hugs, /Kit |

I'm not exactly at my best right now. I don't know who said, but I do recall reading of someone who had said that writing is either incredibly easy or incredibly hard. This ... I know it doesn't look like it, but it was incredibly hard. Maggie-May-Margherita? You always make me smile. Your words are a warm hug, and I thank you. Roneice? Don't lock me outta that little frig just yet! Kari? Linda? Feathery hugs, and forgive my molting. grin... Duncan. I just plain miss the good ole daze. So hugs. Temptress...aptly named, and that you are! We are thisclose on the map. Give me a call, will ya? and Kit? oyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...you're one of my heroes. you and I have dancing to do! Thanks for reading, and my love to all. |

hugs to (((((((((((aw))))))))))) and shvl, you have also been too kind. And just as soon as I survive the Month of May, I hope to have some nice leisurely time to return the favor of time. oy...Life's landmarks are rather like landmines, it occurs to me. (and no it's not MY prom, nor is it MY graduation, but lawsy, you'd think it was...) laughing--thank you! |

This makes sense to me. I remember when things I wrote used to make sense to me. I wonder when it stopped. |

Karen, lovely to see and read you again. Kit hit the nail on the head. Reading your poetry is always an experience! I read this as being about a person until you mentioned the doctor. I hope that your medical news will be good. Please let us know. - Owl |
