She asked my opinion Daughter of mine What I would do If I were her And if the shoe Were to fit She was sure It’d be on someone I cared about She talked I listened And emptied wisdom Small as mustard seed Till done In sum of reflection The thing I’ll cherish most She asked my opinion [This message has been edited by Robert Frazier (05-06-2008 04:06 PM).] |

And emptied wisdom Small as mustard seed ~*~ Of course you did... because her gift of asking filled you with the gift to give. Well done...very poignant, very... very touching. |

How sweet...actually gave me chills...If there is one thing we can pass down to our children, that is more precious than gold, it is wisdom.... ~~~kingsangel~~~ |

It's always an honor when our children ask for our opinion because that means they value it and I love the way you wrote about it. Ida |

I like the allusion to the parable of the mustard seed---very apt! Most of all, I am moved by the love of a father who values the trust of a daughter---he "listens" while he imparts wisdom. Wonderful poem! Art |
