A twinkle and a smile
can carry you miles
down the road of Life.
This truth was revealed
through Sy's eyes.

Seeing similarities before differences,
Sy befriended readers equally,
offered kind words,
in rhyme every time.

Sy, in whatever realm
your spirit rests,
it is surely
one of the best.

Please accept my heartfelt sigh,
rather than the word goodbye.
Through your eyes,
it was easy to see,
we are all
One.

Kacy, like you,
I can only imagine his journey...

But I can only see him, smiling.

Kacy

You know as I read this out pouring of love for Sy ~ I see more inside each one of you.  He chose his friends well.

Here is one special case where the expression
"It takes one to know one"  applies in the most
wonderfully positive way.  Ms. "Midnitesun" and
Mr. Tabin are very, very much alike! [two
remarkably fine and compassionate human beings
with incredibly unique ['signature'] poetic styles and
ways of looking at 'life' (the world) and then grandly
expressing their incredibly original perspectives!]

This 'write' exemplifies a marvelous connection
between two truly kindred spirits!

Kacy,

You expressed it so well.  His words were warming and magical.  I always picitured him as a charming prince or knight, or maybe, even Merlin!  He will always be remembered fondly.

I'm sure he's making friends right and left up in heaven. I never met a person quite like Sy. Truly to meet him was to love him
