An Immortal winter He, cursed the winter, a fatal angel, The long winter made the sun placid Shackled hands of trees were Bound to the mellow blue. Our roadside crazy-man Yawned and cursed You. Grinned the slow ice, It was easy to entice The dirty and old crazy-man. We passed him We smiled with triviality or with Pity. He smiled back And, please lower your eyes Because, his smile was beyond everything. But He cursed the winter And, the snow. We knew: why When we saw a crazy smile on cursing lips Frozen to the immortality . |
