I'm known to disappear at times. Not drugs, or alcohol or loose morals. A yearning latches on me, like a junkie before a fix and I am off. I search. Traveling roads, real and imagined, Out where words are waiting to be tasted, rhymnes to be hummed, snatching from the ordinary a glimpse of mystic. So,I search returning with notebooks of crumpled paper Hope painted on my face like a porcelain doll. Surely, within these pages lies a flow of words- waltz-like in precision- perfect in their form. or a merging of wisdom and meaning, set to rthymn as true as the earth in it's spinning. A time or two I would catch that magic- So, I search, for the perfect poem one perfect time. sharyn [This message has been edited by shyvl (05-05-2008 07:55 AM).] |

the length felt all right to me. i dig this part: or a merging of wisdom and meaning, set to a rthymn as true as the earth in it's spinning. that's exactly why i write: the elusive attempt to merge wisdom and meaning. haha |

Reading you is always a profound and nice experience Sharyn...I don't think the perfect poem exists...We need all kind of poems, otherwise the perfection, I think would be boring... Have a nice day yann |

Sharyn, The thought of this is fine. However, there are a number of misspelled words, and instances of misuse of words. I'd go over this with a fine tooth comb, and make the needed corrections. If you have a spell-checker I'd advise using it. Bobby |

Don't change the words! The flow is grand. Check the first verse..."on the me" I read it as..."latches onto me. Wonderful! |

...you're walking in my shoes, my friend. Kindly send them back home when the souls wear out so I can re-soul (not re-sole, you noticed) them == once again and get them back out there, seeking. If by chance you find it...send me the answer, please. And kep the shoes Jimmy |

I like long winding paths that lead me on a word journey. When I read you, I don't even need a map. Loving this, Sharyn. xoxox Alison |
