we were in different rooms more often than together in anymore places folding our envelopes with elbows wondering if the mail would come on our own special holidays kicking the music into mouths of old style smiles the kind from next door windows we had seen fast moving but seldom from stop signs we wore each others skins like shirts with tattoos on the sleeves rolled up to maintain originality but we knew what was there inside each others secret finger folds like it was our own saliva we tasted when licking our thumbs to turn pages hoping the books would never end or get boring enough to close even though we knew the endings like yesterday's horse race videos ________________ daark |

Deep and mysterious as always Love the lines "we wore each others skins like shirts with tattoos on the sleeves rolled up to maintain originality but we knew what was there inside each others secret finger folds" I could relate and they seemed so quintesentially you. Thanks for the pleasure sharyn [This message has been edited by shyvl (04-23-2008 07:21 AM).] |

That stanza was my favorite but then again, you knew it would be though. |

Oh, dear D., there is something about "feet on glass" and "boredom" that makes me feel slightly uneasy ... there is a touch of melancholy in this one. "Endings" should never be considered, but then we do fear them, even when we are at the peak of joy, we can never completely ignore the endings ... good to know there will always be new beginnings! ... as well as new books to be enjoyed! POET, I love to read you. Love, Margherita |

hmmmmm and ummmmmm It doesn't hurt that I'm listening to Rod Stewart's Stardust album, does it? and that it's raining outside? and that I see fog on the windows? |

This one makes me feel kind of sad Mr. Daark… In a reminiscent sort of way. Beautiful as always… Tammy<333 |
