I am Random and amazing I wonder how minute maid lemonade is supposedly all natural and yet has only 3% juice I hear the J. Geil band’s centerfold in my head 24 hours a day I see nothing when Im blindfolded I want to do something unique I am random and amazing I understand King Kong was made in 1933 and that’s probably why it looks really pathetic I say that everything is made in China I dream that they will lower the price of skittles by 50 cents so I can afford it with a quarter. I try to beat all 100 levels of pacman……….I hate pacman I hope that the invention of self serve gas stations did not ruin my future career I am random and amazing I pretend that what I pretend is real I feel that the world could be triangle I touch…. The keyboard and its barely working I worry that the people around me are wasting their lives I cry when I realize that I am walking away from the beliefs that keep me going I am random and……. I lie on the ground and I feel nothing I look at the sky and see flames I see the towers burning above me I worry that people around me have wasted their lives I see them burning alive falling to their deaths I think that I am dying too I was young when I set up a betting booth on pet rock fights I can’t feel my legs, the destruction blurs I once tried to make my own religion I see my vision go fuzzy, the sky goes black (Is that smoke or can I not see) I never could beat pacman such a stupid game I calmly take my last breath The towers fall I am random and amazing |

I cannot put my figer on why this touched me but it did. I will not analyze me today. and I have a funny story that involves the "centerfold" song and a local band in 1983 in Newport, RI....the day I stopped the band, midsong.. anyway, thank you for moving me and reminding me... Thank you This was simply my humble attempt at a 9/11 poem, a subject many attempt and few succeed at. I'm glad you liked it |

Well, you must be sane if you didn't succeed in inventing your own religion. This is different and interesting. I'll be watching for more. Ida |
