I Could Swallow the World with that Yawn |

I would like everyone to know that being a new member all the responses I've received are very much appreciated. I didn't expect such a great welcome and I look forward to reading all your poetry. That backdrop of ‘Let’s forget the world’— Turned into that Goodnight feeling, Of how nebulas explode When our bodies collide. And we take deep breaths Under a seizure of colors— So to fill ourselves With warm embrace Of renegade comets And swirls of galaxies, Only, I realize Under this cosmic dance Your eyes— Brighter than the emeralds Off the shore Of the Milky Way— Hold me to you And I feel These strange words, Mouth forming syllables— I’d swallow The world, With my yawn— If you only asked. |

I was going for sensual with this poem and I spent quite a bit of time working on the images so thank you both for the replies. |

love it. and welcome, since I seem to have missed your entrance (if I didn't miss it, don't tell me, old age is depressing enough without tangible proof).. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
