Boredum infects my DNA
and it leaves me to dry
as I slowly go to sleep, it drifts away
and leaves me in my bed to die.

Boredum infects my self-esteem
and leaves me down in the dumps
I am unable to redeem
myself from this slump.

Boredum infects my life
and I can't stand it
Nothing challanges me anymore, not even a knife
so now, I just sit here, with a candle lit.

Meditating to this
weird music
as it rocks me to sleep
and saves me from this
annoying feeling that is;
boredum.

Hey, don't knock boredom. There are way worse things out there than being bored.

I think being bored is productive. I mean you did write this poem about it most likely because you were bored.

Dear Extreme Thirst,

                          Bored or depressed?

                          Not getting out of bed sounds depressed.

                           Both are helped considerably by taking a daily half hour walk.  If you can make it aerobic, it's better.

     Now, what can we do for you about this poem?  I don't see any guidelines posted for the kind of feedback you want.  I'd enjoy batting poems around with you, but it's better to know where the net is so I can tell where I'm out of bounds.

     Heck, I'm not even sure I'm translating you right.
