Like The First Time we Touched

In a perfect world we would
be together forever,
or perhaps not, because
nothing seems to match
the desire and anticipation
of coming back together
after a season of separation,
always finding our love
and appreciation to be
as strong as before,
and as we come together
and look into
one anothers eyes
its heavenly,
like the first
time we touched.
