Just An Old Fashioned Love Song Faith, hope and love were starting to feel a little out of place in a society that seemed to be rejecting them. Seems there was an issue with the American Civil Liberties Union concerning separation of church and state. To the ACLU, faith had run its course and was now the enemy of the state who's fire should be extinquished wherever it dared to show its flame, and concerning hope; don't you dare to have it and don't continue to spread that silly story around that faith, hope and love are dependent upon each other, as that could be posted in your file under hate speech. As for love, that went out of style when the Waltons were canceled, or was that banned, from your old fashioned television screens. Now go and turn on Sex In The City... if you know whats good for you. I've never watched Sex in The City either but I have seen some promo's and its not my style. But neither is the ACLU approach. Very good. I enjoyed your rant. Love, (dare I say that?) Joyce |
