sometimes it is in your voice
that sound of something special
in that know only we know place

where our breathing plays
with new rhythms and each other
and our hands are our own kids

somehow partly grown and exploring
wondering about things and feelings
and what if we touched here

or there when the sky was on
or again when it was off
and had its night strings attached

to everything else that we could feel
