Some say I use them and overdue it, stretching them into unheard of positions transforming them from tall towers of epiphany into springtime ballerinas though a thicket of leaves that tumbles between they've been cast with personas and decked out in finery from vintage oak blues to philadelphia greens (and all the unclassified hues between) they've been brides of august in white lace and filagree posing with prime ministers and articulating in the exhilerating (breezes)when i scatter them with red roses and sea chanties they parallel the very life that they bear witness to through my window, their window alternating between clarity and the dirt of my ungodliness when love leaves , they stay grounded, along with me bound by tradition, released part imagination, part faith that yes there is always another season with the fault of redundancy i may have slapped them at times with too many storms or ailng romances (as if there were a difference between the two) but i honor them today, for without them, most days the page would be inkless. |

quote: Awesome, dear Michele! Though I am sure they will protest and say they never saw any "dirt of ungodliness", they just see life in all its colors. Love, Margherita |
