Felix The Attention Hog |

Felix hobbles into the playground sporting his new green cast. Everyone’s glad to see him. They’re most interested in his cast. They all want to sign it. They pass a few ball point pens around, while Felix sits on a bench, and rest his cast on Wawa’s shoulder. All the kids’ sign-in, while Felix tells everyone the one true story of how the nasty doctor broke his leg. After the signing, the cast is no longer green, but more a dirty brown. Of course, Felix being a natural born hog for attention almost thinks the whole things worth it. Bobby |

I'm glad to hear about Felix, however it's a sad story with the cast....I can't believe people can do this.... I think in some poor countries (africa) there are terrible things happening with medecine... Sometimes the world is so wicked that we should blame everyone for being so passive.... best wishes yann |

Thanks Yann, You know it pretty hard to keep a good Felix down for long. Thanks for your words, and I more than agree with your "passive" statement. People gotta open their mouths. Bobby |

XTr3m3sT, Felix thanks you for your concern. Angel is a beautiful name. I once had a good friend named Angel. He was a tough guy, but a very good guy, with a big heart. He was killed in an auto accident about thirty years ago. It still makes me very sad to think about it. He was burnt to a crisp. Bobby |

Yo Tammy<333, Thanks Hon, You've got that big space. You've found your way into Felix's tough heart. That's quite an accomplishment. Bobby |

John, Yes, I'm afraid you're reading it right. Felix is young, and presently in a weakened condition. He knows better, and I'm sure he'll snap out of it. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (04-13-2008 06:43 PM).] |

very good. Felix had a show, a nice safe one. Why did a doctor break his leg? |

Thanks Dear Shyvl, Felix is nothing if he’s not an opportunist. He does the best he can with every situation. He’s always been very resourceful. Bobby |

Seoulair, Thanks for asking. Felix was in a charity hospital. The young doctor was making a study of how broken bones heal in children of different ages and weights. He bribed Felix's mother, and she went cheap. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (04-13-2008 09:33 PM).] |

James, You were good to notice the "almost". Broken bones are extremely painful, and can be unappetizing. Thanks for your response. Bobby |
