* Snow song * Out there in solitude me and the snow feel One. Purity and perfection on every snowflake’s uniquely shaped lace. Upon my tongue like divine delicacies the white clusters dissolve. As if still a child I prance in a merry-go-round doing the fluffy dance. Every step on the ground stirs the spirit of snow to release its joyful sounds. Scrunching in delight in duet with my soul we sing the snow song. Out there in solitude me and the snow feel One ... with All there is. Can you hear our song? Nature speaks in many ways to tell us where we belong. * thank you Alison for the inspiration: /pip/Forum105/HTML/000150.html Love, Margherita |

I remember singing that song but there's no snow in So. Cal. Very pretty words. Ida |

Really nice. Can't feel romantic about snow though, it's horrible, really cold & causes traffic bedlam! |

I love your exhuberant snow song at this time of year. Snow is awesome just before Christmas, but by February, it's one more blast to get cleaned off the walks and driveways, delaying spring's enterance. Slush splashes up shiny cars and stains our boots and shoes as excitement dwindles. Thanks for your dance of thankfulness, reminding us of it's beauty once again. Rae |

Margherita, I really like the lines: “Scrunching in delight in duet with my soul we sing the snow song.” It’s nice to know someone besides me likes snow. Kinda. Bobby |

I am especially fond of the photo.-imagery in this 'write' as well as: "Purity and perfection on every snowflake’s uniquely shaped lace." and: "Can you hear our song? Nature speaks in many ways to tell us where we belong." Applause!! |

It's a joy to find so many of you in here with your loving comments. Thank you so much. Yes, I remember, there are also negative aspects about the snow, no doubt! But I was focussing on its radiance, because I have truly wondrous memories which will forever be cherished. love and joy Margherita |

Oh, the joys of snow! I'm a regular little snow bunny! I love snow! ~ and that't a good thing because we are inundated with it! "Nature speaks in many ways" ~ and you, dear poetess, lend your voice to Nature's beauty through your poetic words. Love to you and to Mother Nature! Linda |

Margherita, my friend This is absolutely wonderful. I feel the same way! I love snow, especially the fresh, fluffy, clean white drifts. When I was little we made snow ice cream from that snow. After, making angels, trails, and playing outside for hours. I love snow still - and I love this poem. We are all lucky to have you among us - you are a very beautiful woman and friend. Alison |

Haven't seen enough snow in my life to pick up this kind of vibes...it is beautiful, I know by out-weighed by the cold, my friend...yet, anyway. Beautifully written though... jwesley |

I can hear the sound LOUD and CLEAR! We have more snow than we know what to do with. However, I have acquiesced and allowed myself to read your absolutely beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing. hugz, Marti Life is a celebration of awakenings, of new beginnings, and wonderful surprises that enlighten the soul. --Cielo |
