Fresh Kisses of Life

In the mist
of a bamboo forest
I became lost and
I couldn't find my
way back to civilization
for just a moment.
All around me was bamboo
as far as my eyes could see,
swaying in the wind
and seeming quite content
from my eyes point of view.
Within my being, I took in
the beauty of the color,
the simplicity, the gracefulness
of a bamboo forest embracing
the blessings of a spring breeze.
And then it rained, that glorious rain
that falls from the heavens
of a life sustaining God.
And as I watched, the bamboo
openly and graciously received
those fresh kisses of life.

So very beautiful. I could be one of bamboo.

I have been in bamboo forest too(6 inches diameter thick), in spring. and through the green I could see mountain-wide blooming azaleas.

I think you get better with age my friend...by the time you grow up you'll be unbeatable! (I'm still working on that growing up bit, so you have a ways to go...)

effjayel we have bamboo in the mountains in certain areas, and don't forget the coconut, papaya, and mango trees...James
