I dare say my heart of late is written in the buds, thus I awake to the smell of indifference in the flowers-- ah, my foolish soul to bleed its eyes shut; never to taste that of an unspotted beauteous flute that makes no sound but the power of a scent within the air, to breathe like fire. Whilst yet she wanders what to say ’tis just words that bloom today-- unread, but predictable; have I wandered lost into a wishing well. Finding my dreams for what they really are all but a nervous thought written down-- laced inside my heart, to hold secure to these thoughts I know just like the flowers sometimes I get over-watered. Still, go on…listen to the buds dancing each containing truth within the movement, hush now for I sadly do not have nature’s hand to appear after all has wilted anew, but we my love need to be joined. So I’ve woven a special bud for you which shall be called our own-- thus in awakening I shall smell you everyday, even though you do not know. |
