The taste of morning fills all the corners of every room of my heart where hallowed breath seeks a new start I break the day with my long hand that culls the skin then enters in the rhapsody of quiet there Within this labyrinth of timelessness the dredge of minutes disappears then takes the shadows and makes them clear Close the tumult of treachery and whisper not of stories dripping false assumption that life and death are grievous sad Then watch the heart take all the glory as each step turns the trodden into golden expectation of a day gone suddenly to glad |

This feels gently and warm of the dream I awoke from, this morning; no fear, just clear and everlasting know. |

I started to copy passage...the entrance of this superb...but then I got caught up in the timeless resonance, and I couldn't pick a favorite line at all, as the whole of it left me breathless. Lovely. |

Within this labyrinth of timelessness the dredge of minutes disappears then takes the shadows and makes them clear I also find myself list in this laybrinth Martie. A lovely Martieism here. |

I like the "real" in your poetry, Martie. I love the metamorphis here where the day is changing from one of harshness and dread to a day of courage and optimism. It is SOOOO good to see your name gracing these pages again! Be well my internet friend. ~cathy~ |

I am very happy that your day went to glad, as did mine, in reading how yours did. It is good to find some Martie magic. - Owl |

Glad is definitely the place to be. Maybe I'll see you there... someday. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; |

"Close the tumult of treachery and whisper not of stories dripping false assumption that life and death are grievous sad Then watch the heart take all the glory as each step turns the trodden into golden expectation of a day gone suddenly to glad" This poem is too precious and wonderful to remain hidden in the archives. |
