Losing Oneself I'm outside myself watching a life, no longer mine, leading the way. A puzzle no longer fitting, pieces strewn here and there edges worn, too soft to reconnect. One can never be prepared enough for the unexpected that steals the calm, opens the door to chaos leaving you soaked after the pouring rain. I watch in the shadows as I move to thoughts that push me on as I struggle wanting it all to end. So I ignore what is, just to be able to survive. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

M, Sometimes ignorance can create the feeling of bliss, but I think it is not a bad idea to do as you are doing & stand out side the confines of chaos & confusion you currently find yourself in. Please try to take an impartial objective view of the situation. I'm sure at this moment it seems there is no way out but these things have a way sorting themselves out. Yes, you may be weary right now & feel soaked to the skin with all the uncertainty and worry, but remember there is always calm after the storm and every cloud has a silver lining. Thinking of you in your dark times.. Take care, John |

Sometimes that's what one has to do. But not for long, because your life is worth fighting for. Hang in there. Excellent write, as always. ~alyssa Hupomeno. |

M, I felt this deep within my core. I re-read it twice and after reading it the second time, I just shook my head...it's like you just read my thoughts! "One can never be prepared enough for the unexpected that steals the calm, opens the door to chaos leaving you soaked after the pouring rain" this is eloquent writing at it's finest. Life definitely sends us in unexpected directions and unexplained events unfold. I'd love to say grab an unbrella, but we both know that sometimes we must feel that "rain" in order to as you have said...survive. beautiful write! "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" |

This poem could be about me. I know where you are coming from. I feel the same way, most of the time. |
