The Woman for Me. Klover Comprehension is lacking in me, When I search my heart, for a woman of dreams. Some one who completes me, making me whole. Yet, I simply cannot see, in this fog of my heart. I yearn for one who steadfast my fate, Enjoys my jokes, and laughs with me. Who I can be fit with, as we both train for better things. Who doesn’t mind the simple games I play, But who hears when I speak deeper things. Who is kind on my eyes and pleases to be with, Not a fabrication of silicon and plastics. But very very handy when used as a pillow. Yet, nothing seems to strike me, As one who I can dream of. And sometimes I fear, If I don’t know what I truly want. Or worse, when I look at the setting sun of my life, If I was meant to be alone, When I make my course, into this dangerous world. Oh heart, give me strength. |

Thalen, This is somewhat complex, at least complex for me--simple language and meaning go hand in hand to make a meaningful poem. Bobby |

Ah yes, well I've always preferred a more complex style. Its more like comparing a cathedral to a small chapel. Both are beautiful in their own ways, but should share the same message. |

I tend to write for other people, not for myself. Bobby |

Thank you James. And Robert, if your willing to read my other works, you should see I don't normally focus on myself. I would hope your not implying anything with that post. |

I loved the way your words seem to turn their own page... as if between the fingers of the future. Nicely done. |

Thalen, I'd never imply anything bad about a New Jersey person. They're all good people, and they act as a buffer between Philly and those folks from New York. Bobby |

Was reading this again because it has lots of thoughts and you mentioned something about you're not sure what you want...and I went through that a lot at an earlier time in my life, and I always thought the woman I was with was the one I wanted, but something seemed to be missing, and after we broke up, I realized I was totally with the wrong one, but there was always a reason, and finally I began to understand what I wanted or didn't want in a woman...now my mind is clear, and I know that I am with the woman I want...hopefully her mind is clear also, and it appears to be...James |
