Go tell the Spartans, stranger passing by,
That chucking spears is dangerous, you could easy lose an eye
And if you see Leonidas, tell him this from me,
He can keep the money I gave him ‘til he gets back from Thermopylae.

Oh! And tell him that a bloke called, one of his Persian mates
So I sent him down the goat track to the north of the hot gates.
He seemed a pleasant fellow, Xerxes was his name
If Leo somehow misses him tell him Ephialtes ain’t to blame.
