Sometimes
I go to the
large cemetery

where the sun
shines bright

ripples sparkle
on a peaceful pond

graceful swans

I sit, sipping tea

and in the
twilight,
watch
as rabbits play

Sometimes
I go deep
into the woods

to the little graveyard

that lies in darkness

completely enclosed
by rusted wrought iron
that never bore a gate

and in the
early dawn,
watch
as possums crawl
out from beneath
weathered headstones

carrying bloated bellies
and satisfied grins

the tea taste the same
