So she uses baby powder and I must ask the question, “Do you think you’re innocent?” And she does because the mind set on course with heart is unable to recalculate and embrace the rules laid down within a fool. But too she is a fool for feeling but not knowing the deep and dark untenable residing like a snake behind unblinking eyes. Snakes uncoil and slither like flashes of the truth that quickly disappear when dissected for their worth and thought impossible. So she uses baby powder like a drape of innocence to allow the hidden truth a soft and silky slide into her conscious mind. Baby powder! “Yes”, she cries. “This life is full of lies!” Helen / 21 March 2008 |

A most interesting write. Baby powder makes me sneeze. Maybe there is some hidden meaning in that sneeze! |

Hmm? I think as we grow we become allergic to innocence. Maybe that's why you sneeze. Thanks for popping in. |

Dear Helen, what an intriguing write! Beautifully rendered thoughts. Baby powder has such a lovely fragrance and in association with a newborn no doubt it recalls perfection and purity, a state of being we forever long for. To be able to preserve our original innocence is a precious gift. Love and hugs. Margherita |
