Swallows

Looking inside a pit’s reflection
One swallows dance’s shady shadows
Swimming strange-mirrored paths
Revolving shades - Autumn pasts.

Leaves spiraling recurring dreams
Where swallow wings drift currents
Whirlpools swallowing time beams
Corkscrew twisting taunt spring.

Spreading blanket clouding minds
Billowing branch ever green rind
Barking maple juice wind-shear
Time thunders birth cry near.

Wail, oh notes, nail songbirds all hail
Greeting RIPping heartbeat bail-out
Tearing soul sailing spirit bangtail
Racing HeArt painting one’s fairy tale.

One swallow time among every breath
Drowns sorrow’s perennial baby's breath
That first sound that defies life over death
Among character chain swift swallow flights.
