Daffodil Such a happy thing to be in bloom In the wind they bob their heads to the unheard tune With a yellow fringe and a orange nose They glisten in the sun after being watered with the hose Water clings to the petals and the stem like crystal balls They are happier in the ground than in a bucket on a stall What ever the weather they bob their heads to that unheard tune And there are hundreds of them like a rave dancing in bloom When the sun shines they capture the light And it even move beautiful when the light just right As they dance bob and sway around With their roots firmly holding them in the ground They look inquisitive and such a nosy bunch Just one of them on your dinner table or while you are having lunch Can brighten up your day and make smile Even if it just for a while When you look at them it's like their saying how so you so They also look really happy so should you Well their color is bright green orange and yellow The daffodil nothing but chilled and mellow |

I eagerly await springtime and daffodils showing their happy faces! Alas, will be quite awhile yet, for we are snowed in at the present time. Thank you for letting me enjoy them in advance, through your joyful poem! Love & Daffodil Light ![]() EA ![]() |

Dear Andrew, this is such a tender and joy and light filled poem! You bring Spring with your lovely words! I sure love a bunch of them, but even only one is already a precious gift to enjoy, you are so right! They are simply spectacular! Love, Margherita ![]() |
