Ah, sunset! so lovely to the eye, but so heavy, sometimes, to the heart. Nature, in all its splendor, reminds us of recurrent endings. The stars come out, but not before daylight’s end, and the stars will vanish when daylight returns again. Oh, if only there was something about me as persistent and enduring as darkness, but filled with living light! I, temporal being, braving approaching night. |
