Hey young girl, Your eyes were lighted like lamp posts above a highway, Your youth looked inhabited by a team of busy researchers and your beauty delivered by angels from UPS; Hey young girl in this dizzy sunny afternoon your eyes your youth and beauty were all we could see from you, (not the invisible wheelchair you were sitting in.) Nice tribute. I for one also try to see the person and not the disability myself. Tender |

How wonderful to be such a vibrant young person. I hope she knows of your admiration(or at least, felt it from afar). I didn't think I was going to enjoy this by the time I reached line 4 or 5, but I was hooked well before the end. Great poem! |
